Muzo is a small, remote coffee station in Rwanda's Gakenke District, about two hours northwest of Kigali. Despite its size, it has become a key part of the Baho Coffee collection, with strong investment and growth since 2019. The number of contributing farmers has increased from 400 to 650, and coffee production has expanded from half a container to over two containers annually. Located at altitudes over 2000 masl, Muzo produces exceptionally dynamic coffees. To support farmers in hard-to-reach areas, Baho offers free cherry collection services while still paying full prices. Baho also provides extensive farmer support, including seedlings, training, health insurance contributions, and access to agronomists and equipment.
